Some Info Dr. Ketten is a Fellow of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), a Senior Fellow of the National Institutes of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIH/NIDCD), a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Resident Scholar in Neuro and Marine Sciences at the Hanse–Wissenschaftskolleg Institute for Advanced Studies, a Jefferson Science Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, a designated Subject Matter Expert in Bioacoustics for the Acoustical Society of America, and an International Fellow of the Helmholtz Foundation.

Research Statement

Darlene Ketten is a marine biologist and neuroanatomist whose research blends biomechanics and acoustics to address hearing and noise impacts in humans, marine mammals, fish, and sea turtles.
