Some Info My current duties vary from working with educators, students in various settings and academic stages, and the general public. I organize educator workshops to connect teachers with scientists doing cutting-edge coastal and marine research. I run the Coasts, Oceans, and Stewardship (COAST) program for WHOISG and NOAA Fisheries Northeast Fisheries Science Center taking our research on marine mammals, climate change, river herring, and more into K-12 classrooms. I'm in charge of the Ocean STEAM Powered Women Fellowship each summer at WHOI in partnership with Sea Education Association. All of my projects take advantage of opportunities to increase ocean literacy so that young and old can make informed decisions about our coastal and marine resources.
