Stratigraphic records of Late Quaternary environmental change; Links between climate change and landscape evolution focusing on past sea level, glacial lakes, and ice sheet dynamics; Paleotempestology-the development of long-term records of intense storms from sedimentary archives; Paleoecology of coastal ecosystems, particularly intertidal wetlands; Exploring linkages between the distribution and technological advances of ancient people and Late Quaternary climate and landscape changes.
