Research Statement

Inspired by environmental processes that challenge our current chemical knowledge, the Theoretical Chemistry and Isotope Biogeochemistry Group at WHOI is interested in advancing the frontiers of Chemistry through studying non-traditional stable isotopes. Isotope effects are Nature’s guide to chemistry. The question is: how should we interpret them when there is no chemical framework?
