Some Info I currently work at the Department of Physical Oceanography at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. My scientific work consists mostly of gathering and analyzing in-situ data at sea, from open ocean moorings and ship-borne instrumentation (CTD, ADCP, meteorology), and comparing it to satellite and model data. During my Ph.D at Florida State University, I studied the interaction of mesoscale oceanic eddies with seafloor bathymetry using quasi-geostrophic analytical and numerical models. I received my masters in condensed matter physics at the University of Cergy-Pontoise in France.

Research Statement

My research focus is on air-sea interaction, especially at the synoptic scale, and how it impacts the climate and ecosystems at larger scales. I collect and use mostly in-situ observations from outer tropics (Stratus, Whots and Ntas open ocean stations) and mid-latitudes (Climode). In 2024, during the IO8 GOSHIP cruise in the South Indian ocean, I developped an interest in high latitudes storms. Since my Ph.D, I have remained very interested in the interaction between oceanic mesoscale eddies and bathymetry.
