Some Info I am a biological oceanographer with 10+ years of experience studying the detection, ecology, physiology, and impacts of the harmful algal bloom (HABs) in Florida and Texas. I develop and implement a range of tools -from genetic assays and cytometric techniques to microscopy - to support both field and laboratory research into dynamics of HABs, as well as the environmental factors driving their development, intensification, and termination.
